The Sound of Music

So I watched the Sound of Music again for the first time in quite some time now, and I realized that this movie was truly the best movie ever made.
I know that this is a very very old movie, and was made long before I was born, but I do think that it's worth watching at least once, simply because it's just that good.
I used to watch this movie probably about 2 to 3 times a day when I was a little kid, and I never got bored of it. In fact, you could even say that the movie got better and better every time that I watched it. I knew all the songs by heart and watched every single scene intently. I was quite an interesting toddler, singing songs from The Sound of Music while the other kids walked around singing the Dora theme song. I remember to this day rewinding the video cassette over and over, anticipating the next time I would watch it... That was definitely one of the best times of my life, watching my favorite movie over and over every day, not a care in the world.
But of course, school came along and I forgot about The Sound of Music and occupied myself with "playdates" and all of the great things that kids did as first graders instead. It was the same every single day after that right up until yesterday.
I saw an old, old home video of me watching The Sound of Music as a 3 year old and I decided right then and there that I needed to watch it. So I got on the internet and waited impatiently as I watched the streaming movie load at a painfully slow rate, and then when it was finally done buffering, clicked "Play."
Before I knew it, I was watching that movie just like I did when I was a toddler. Singing along to all the songs and enjoying every moment.
Even as I watch it much later, I still think that it was the best movie that was ever made; you can watch it again and again without getting tired of it!
So I strongly recommend that you watch this movie if you haven't seen it; I guaruntee that you will love it!!
