Yup, the big Cha-Ching. Now money is the most important thing that anyone could ever own. You couldn't live without money. You'd be on the streets without it. It's common sense up to there, but now we have people lying through their teeth for it and people killing others because they are hungry for money. We have those who decide that instead of earning your own money fair and square it would be much easier to just rob/mug a person and take everything. It seems that people are getting more and more untrustworthy. We still have the good people in the world, but unfortunately, we have the bad mixed in with them. Before, people stopped to help those whose car had broken down in the middle of the highway. Now, people are afraid to stop because they could be just those sick people who decide that they would go out and mug someone. If the people are actually stuck, then that's just too bad for them, because not many people would stop for them anymore.
That's just sad. -sigh-
And another thing. Let me tell you a story.
There was a boy and his mother in a restaurant when the boy started choking on his food. His mother started to freak out when a man jumped up and started doing the heimlich maneuver on him. The food came out, but in the process, he had broken one of the boy's ribs. But anyways, in the end the food came out and the man saved his life. And guess what he mother did. She sued him for breaking his rib. I mean, sure, breaking a rib is pretty bad, but if he didn't step up and do the heimlich, then the boy would've choked to death. Anyways, she took her case to court and she won it. She won because the judge decided that because the man didn't have a medical degree he wasn't certified to do the heimlich. It kind of sounds like he's saying the man should've just left the boy alone just because he didn't have a medical degree. So unfortunately, the man served jail time.
Save a life, Get Sued. HA.
TOTALLY NOT FAIR! No, don't say it. Don't say life's not fair. Don't want to hear it.
So now, if someone is choking in a restaurant, people who know the heimlich are afraid to do it because they might get sued for doing it but not having a medical degree.
ARGH
It makes me so angry to hear it...
Anyways, I just thought that I would put that out there... The things people do... especially for money.
